Mt. Vernon
Mt. Vernon was produced by the Cambridge Glass Company from the 20’s till the 1940’s. I’m certain the 1926 United States Sesquicentennial had a lot to do with the name of this pattern. The mid 1920’s saw and increase in interest of the US fight for independence. Many companies chose Revolutionary war names and GeorgeWashington was on everything. Cambridge was no different. I would not be surprised if the exact year of introduction was 1926.
