Cape Cod
Cape Cod was made by the Imperial Glass Company from the 1930’s until the early 1980’s. Many different colors are available including blue, crystal, red, green, milk glass and black. A very heavy pressed pattern it reminds me of what old antique shops displayed in their windows. All kinds of stemware items are to be found. Matching tumblers abound. It’s long run provides a good supply for collectors.

Candlewick

Made from the mid 1930’s till 1986 Candlewick is a very common pattern in crystal. It was aslo made in blue, black, pink, red, blue and green. It’s distictive “balled” edge is wasy to spot. Many stemware styles are found including etched pieces. There are goblets, tumblers and footed stemware as well. It’s an affordable pattern to collect that won’t take years to assemble.
